SHIPPING IN ITALY

Standard deliveries to Italy are free of charge and are operated by GLS or SDA.

Express deliveries are operated by GLS or SDA for a starting cost of € 5 and may vary depending on your selected delivery option and Items ordered. 

Orders are delivered Monday-Friday between the following hours: 09.00am to 7.30pm.

SHIPPING TO THE REST OF THE WORLD

All orders are shipped worldwide via courier UPS or DHL. 

All orders are shipped to Russia via courier EMS (subsidiary of FSUE Russian Post).

Shipment and deliveries are free for order more than € 1000, for all other orders a contribution for shipping is required.

Delivery fees vary depending on your selected delivery option and Items ordered. Delivery options and costs are calculated per item and in accordance with the location of your delivery address. The delivery fee will be displayed during the ordering checkout process, but before checkout has been finalized.

Every shipment outside the European Union will be DDU (Delivery Duty Unpaid) so please be aware that sales taxes, customs duties, and handling costs will be charged by DHL on an individual basis directly upon shipment as far as non-European Union (EU) countries are concerned, and will not be refunded by SANGIORGIO in case the articles are returned.

We process and send orders during our main service hours, Monday to Friday, from 9:30 am till 5:30 pm CET. The merchandise will be ready for dispatch one business day after the receipt of payment, at the latest.

Please be aware that we cannot deliver to post office boxes.

We will notify you via email as to the process of your Order, and you will also be able to track Order on our Website.

US IMPORTER REQUIREMENTS

Private U.S.A. citizens and non-U.S.A. citizens residing in the U.S.A. that import from abroad following online purchases are considered final importers: they must have and release to the courier/broker a SSN - Social Security Number or, if they’re non-U.S.A. citizens, a CBP - Customs Border Protection Number. The process to request and obtain a CBP takes around 14 working days.

If the package cannot be cleared and delivered due to Customer’s responsibility in non-compliance of import requirements (wrong telephone number and address, SSN or CBP numbers not provided) the package will be sent back to Italy at the Customer’s expense, that includes shipping and import fees: this expense will be deducted from the final reimbursement.

SHIPPING DOCUMENTS

As required by the international laws governing imports and exports, all orders are shipped with an official invoice declaring the truthful total amount of the merchandise purchased. According to international law, it is illegal to understate the value of purchased items or to declare an item as GIFT.

TAXES

On the basis of the destination selected, the displayed price of the item will be inclusive of VAT for all European Union countries.

In case of shipments that are made to non-European countries, no VAT is charged. As soon as the articles arrive at the destination, sales tax on imports as well as customs duties and handling costs will be determined by the respective customs office. The recipient will then be invoiced by our logistics partner DHL. By submitting your order and paying and/or submitting the required information, you agree to the import regulations of the respective articles. Please be aware that import regulations vary from country to country. Please note that customs duties, sales tax on imports, as well as handling costs that were charged to the recipient by DHL or EMS by order of the customs office, cannot be refunded by sangiorgioshop.com even in the case that the articles should be returned.

Delivery times

Once the order is processed and fulfilled, shipping times are as follows:

Italy, Europe EU: 1-3 working days

USA, Canada and Japan: 3-6 working days

Non-EU Europe and Rest of the world: 4-7 working days

Russian: 7-15 working days

The times indicated refer to shipping into main cities. Delivery times are approssimative and may vary due to factors that are outside the responsibility of SANGIORGIO. We kindly ask Customers to provide a valid address where the goods can be delivered during delivery times. Any delivery delays must be immediately notified to our Customer Service.

ORDER DELIVERY

At the time of receiving the package, we kindly ask Customers to carefully check it before signing for delivery. The goods become property of the customer at the moment of the signature is appended. 

The following may occur:

At the time of delivery, the package appears obviously tampered/damaged: we advise Customers to sign subject to checking/verification or to refuse delivery. 

Customer refuses delivery of shipment or asks for it to be returned to sender: any redelivery cost that may be charged to SANGIORGIO will be subtracted from any refund due to the Customer.

Impossible to deliver the shipment to the address provided by the Customer in the commercial contract: the package may be returned to the sender. All redelivery/return expenses will be borne by the Customer and will be subtracted from any refund due to the Customer.

RETURNS 

All purchased items can be returned within 14 days . It is possible to return unworn and unused items to request a refund. The conditions and procedure for this are as follows.

Please note: we can only accept returns from the same country where the order was originally shipped.

RETURNS CONDITIONS

Products shall be returned in the original packaging and in the same conditions in which they were originally sent: unworn, not washed or altered. Moreover, returns shall be returned equipped with all tags and any original accessories.

If the item comes with a security tag this must be left on. If the security tag is removed then the returned item will not comply with the returns policy and will not be refunded. 

Damaged returns shall not be accepted and can be sent back to the Customer at their expense. 

Shoes and accessories shall be returned in their original box, which is an integral part of the product. 

RETURNS PROCEDURE

Return authorization can be requested within 14 days from the date of delivery.

To request an authorization to return, just access to your ACCOUNT and fill up the form at the end of the ORDER DETAIL.

After your request you will receive our authorisation email with the return instructions.

Shipping must take place within 7 working days from the date of authorisation. Within 3 working days from receiving the returned goods SANGIORGIO shall send a confirmation e-mail accepting the returns.

Only for EU European Customers we provide an optional package pick up service at the same price of previus shipping.

From Non-EU Europe and Rest of the world, returns are at Customer's expense and risk.

SANGIORGIO reserves the right to inspect the returned product and, if they do not comply with the relevant conditions, to return them at the cost of the purchaser.

REFUNDS

Where a refund has been requested, this shall apply to the price of the garment only and not to shipping costs (both delivery and return) and customs duties (if any).

SANGIORGIO shall endeavour to carry out the refund immediately, in any case within 14 working days from the date of accepting the returns: the actual date of the credit appearing on the Customer’s statement may vary due to factors that are outside the responsibility of SANGIORGIO. 

By default, refund are made on the same payment method used by the Customer for payment.

FAULTY MERCHANDISE

Products received already damaged or that manifest a patent defect are considered as faulty.

SANGIORGIO reserves the right to refuse unauthorised faulty returns.

In the event that a faulty return is accepted, SANGIORGIO shall refund the purchase price for that garment, shipping costs and customs duties. In the event that the original shipment took place as a DDU, with duties and taxes paid at destination, such amounts shall be refunded if, included in the return package, the relevant documentation is sent to SANGIORGIO.
