The sustainable sneaker startup Acbc has developed an interesting collaboration with the historic fashion house Missoni, giving life to an innovative and environmentally respectful collection. The result is a series of limited edition shoes, a capsule collection inspired throughout by the vintage design of the basketball styles that were popular in the 1990s. Every model has been reworked in an organic and green key. The line includes high tops that wrap the ankle as well as low models, for women and men. The strong point is certainly the colour work, entrusted entirely to Missoni, which picks up its iconic knit motifs. The multicoloured patterns are unmistakable and add character to the whole, making each model distinctive. The aim of this partnership is to create prestigious sneakers, made in Italy and with a high percentage of eco-sustainable materials. Lining and heel are in recycled polyester, the laces in organic cotton and the insoles in recycled foam. One of the flagship models is The Fly, with its bright colours, easy to combine with any look and right from morning through to evening. This shoe is not only good to look at: you appreciate its comfort straight away, helped by rubber made from soft EVA and Algafoam, a biomaterial obtained through sophisticated technologies.
