Refund policy

After receiving an item, you have 30 days to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, the item must be in the same condition as when you received it, unworn and unused, with all tags attached, and in its original packaging.

Return costs are the responsibility of the buyer.

For returns from Italy, SANGIORGIO can provide a prepaid return label at a cost of €6. For returns from the rest of Europe, the prepaid return label costs €10. If you use the return label provided by SANGIORGIO, this cost will be deducted from the amount we have to refund.

Items sent without a prior return request will not be accepted.

Free Exchanges

You may exchange a purchased and unused product within 10 days of the delivery date. Returning a product for an exchange does not incur shipping costs if it takes place within the European Union.

Damage and Problems

Inspect your order on receipt and contact us immediately if you find any defects or damage, or if you received the wrong item. This way, we can assess the issue and work to resolve it.

Refunds

Once we have received and inspected your return, we will let you know whether or not the refund has been approved. If approved, you will automatically receive the refund via your original payment method within 10 business days. All payments made to us will be refunded, including delivery costs (with the exception of any additional costs arising from your choosing a delivery method other than the least expensive standard delivery we offer). It may take some time for your bank or credit card company to process the refund and make it visible.

Orders refused or not collected by the recipient will be treated as returned orders, and the shipping costs (both outbound and return) will be deducted from the refund.

Customs duties and sales taxes are not refundable for orders delivered outside the EU.

Legal guarantee of conformity

Products purchased on our site are covered by the legal guarantee of conformity provided for by articles 128 et seq. of Italian Legislative Decree 206/2005 (Consumer Code), lasting two years from delivery.

If the product is not in conformity you may ask us to repair or replace it free of charge; where those remedies are impossible or are not carried out within a reasonable time, you may ask for a price reduction or for the contract to be terminated. In the first twelve months from delivery you do not have to prove that the defect already existed on delivery: it is presumed to have done so.

The legal guarantee is yours by law, it is free of charge and it is in addition to any commercial guarantee offered by the manufacturer. To invoke it, write to ordini@sangiorgiomerate.it.
