Boho suede mud with studs

Vic Matiè women's shoulder bag, Boho model, in soft dark brown suede. The hobo bag is the unstructured shoulder bag, with an open top and a bottom that rounds out under the weight of its contents: it takes the shape of whatever it carries, and never quite returns to its original form. The silhouette here is an inverted teardrop, wide at the bottom and tapering toward the shoulder. The perimeter is edged with a continuous row of round silver-tone metal studs, following the profile of both sides and the bottom: they're the only decorative touch, and they're enough. The closure is an internal fabric drawstring, cinched with two leather cords. It doesn't seal shut like a zipper, but it reduces the opening just enough: the classic solution for a hobo bag, which is designed to be kept open and filled without a second thought. Inside, a single compartment lined in black fabric with a zip pocket. The measurements — 35 cm wide by 27 cm tall — place it among the day bags: room enough for a tablet, a planner, everything needed for a day out. The depth is kept shallow, so it stays flat against the body instead of jutting out. The strap is in suede, adjustable over two loops with metal rings, worn on the shoulder. Suede in this shade works as a warm neutral: it pairs with camel, grey, denim and black, and over time develops a patina at the points of friction that is characteristic of the material.
