A new leather for an old classic: Dr. Martens creates its iconic 8-eyelet 1460 women's boot in soft nubuck leather. Combined with a sturdy yet refined sole, the boot offers unprecedented comfort paired with a bold and timeless style.
This women's 1460 is made with all the classic Doc DNA, including grooved sides, heel loop, and yellow stitching. Built to last, it is made using one of the best construction methods: the Goodyear Welt, meaning the upper and sole are stitched together in our heat-sealed z-welt stitch. The boot sits on our iconic AirWair™ sole, which is oil and fat resistant, with good abrasion and slip resistance.
Upper: 100% Leather - Lining: 75% Fabric / 25% Leather - Sole: 100% PVC
Material: Soft, durable, and tough at the same time, nubuck leather has a matte appearance and can be polished for an elegant shine or left marked by wear for a "used" effect depending on your preference.
Care instructions: Clean dirt with a damp cloth and let dry, then apply a clear or colored wax-based polish as appropriate using a shoe brush. Let dry, then vigorously buff to the desired shine using a second clean shoe brush (for best results, we recommend using two brushes per color: one to apply polish and the second, dry and clean, to buff the leather).
