The toe is tapered and the silhouette stays slim at the back too, where the shaft runs straight down to the heel. The heel is a spool heel, low and fully covered in gold-tone metal: it's the only contrasting element on an otherwise monochrome shoe, which is why it's the first detail you notice in profile.
