The artisanal craftsmanship shows in details that an industrial process cannot reproduce in the same way: the cutting of the leathers, the pairing of colors and finishes — glossy or antiqued depending on the model — and the care given to the exposed stitching, often left visible as a decorative element as well as a structural one. The leathers are soft to the touch and flex with the movement of the foot from the very first wear, without the break-in period typical of stiffer leathers. The glossy finishes reflect light and give a more formal look, while the antiqued ones have a matte surface and a less uniform tone, an intentional effect that makes each pair slightly different from the next. The elastic inserts, where present, allow the boot to be slipped on without laces or zips, while the lace-up models offer more precise adjustment over the instep. Inside, the lining is in leather throughout: unlike fabric, leather breathes and stays dry longer during daily wear. The insole is padded and soft, cushioning the foot's step after step. The sole is rubber, designed for everyday use even in rain or on wet ground: it grips slippery asphalt better than a full leather sole would, without sacrificing lightness.
